Fireheart Tavern started as an idea between Britney, the founder, and her best friend. They had seen book bars online and fell in love with the concept, tossing the idea around and building on it—but never fully committing to it.

Until one day, Britney thought, “You know what… why not?”

And just like that, Fireheart Tavern began to take shape.

Britney has always loved reading, and with over 15 years of experience in the restaurant and bar industry, creating a space like this felt natural. Alongside that, she works in public relations for The Animal Orphanage, where she’s deeply involved in community outreach, events, and fundraising.

With that combination of passions—books, hospitality, and giving back—Fireheart Tavern was created as something more than just a business.

It’s a space for readers, for connection, and for community. A place to enjoy a great book, a good drink, and meaningful conversation. It’s also a place that gives back, with the goal of hosting events and fundraisers that support animal shelters and the work they do.

Fireheart Tavern is still in the process of coming to life—but this is just the beginning.
